✨Harrogate Hospitality & Tourism Awards 2024✨

The Harrogate Hospitality and Tourism Awards (HHTA) aim to promote the town’s hospitality offering through celebrating and rewarding those individuals who show the highest levels of commitment and strive towards excellence on the town’s behalf.

During February and March, members of the public and visitors to Harrogate were invited to nominate individuals who they thought deserved special recognition which helped to generate over 1000 nominations in the twelve categories before a shortlist was chosen. We were delighted to be shortlisted for the coveted award of ‘Restaurant of the Year’ so decided to close the restaurant for the evening so that our full-time team could attend the prestigious awards at the stunning Royal Hall.

The Harrogate Hospitality and Tourism Awards 2024 was hosted by Simon Cotton at the stunning Royal Hall in Harrogate with a celebrity appearance from drag Queen Electra Fence.

Simon Cotton said, “Once again we received a huge volume of entries this year to test the judging panel and I would like to thank everyone for supporting and getting involved.

“We have been able to reward some very worthy winners.

“The hospitality sector is so important to this town’s economy and it is wonderful to see the crème de la crème of their category being acclaimed for their efforts, both those shortlisted and those who won deserve their ‘moment’ in the spotlight and it was great to see everyone celebrating.”

Having previously won ‘Team of the Year’, with both David Straker and Sophie Pride winning individual awards for ‘Outstanding Customer Service Award’ and Brad Nichols shortlisted in 2021 for ‘Chef of the Year’, we were absolutely thrilled to be nominated by our customers and visitors to Harrogate for the most coveted award ‘Restaurant of the Year’. The evening was made extra special by winning ‘Restaurant of the Year’ sponsored by Guinness.
