Email a booking enquiry via our Contact Page or call 01423 506883.
Unfortunately you can no longer drink at the bar however if you just want drinks, please phone ahead to check we have a table available. We have a couple of bar tables and outside tables (weather permitting) set aside for drinks and nibbles.
IMPORTANT: If you or anyone in your party feel unwell or have symptoms of Covid 19 such as a high temperature, dry persistent cough, loss of taste or smell etc. you MUST cancel your table and follow Government and NHS guidance.
Some adjustments have been made to ensure safety, comfort and confidence during your visit:
• Hand sanitising stations set up at entrance and exit points and on the way to toilets.
• Screens fitted ready for our opening.
• Tables spaced to comply with the 1m+ guidelines and staggered arrival times.
• Extended opening on Saturdays (food served all day) and Sunday 12 until 6pm.
• Staff issued with visors and/or face masks.
• Additional signage to assist you.
We ask that you respect the social distancing rule set out by the government for everyone’s safety and to avoid the risk of spreading coronavirus. We will politely remind anyone not following these guidelines and reserve the right to ask anyone in breach of the rules to leave.
TO MAKE A RESERVATION
Please email us using our contact form with your preferred date and how many people the booking is for and include your telephone number and any other necessary details.
We will confirm your reservation – please note, we may adjust your arrival time by a few minutes to avoid too many people arriving at the same time. PLEASE TRY TO BE PUNCTUAL. If you do not receive an email reply within 24 hours, please call.
Table reservations currently limited to 6 people from two households (or support bubbles). If you have a private dining enquiry please get in touch to discuss.
You will be greeted by a member of staff at the door and directed straight to your table.
You will need to keep all personal belongings with you, including your coat, so please bring only what is absolutely necessary.
Your drinks order will be taken and brought directly to your table and you will receive full table service as normal observing 1m+ guidelines.
Individual one-use menus will be on the table ready for you along with a wine list on the reverse. Specials written on the boards.
Condiments will be brought on request and sanitised between customer use. All tables and chairs will be sanitised between customers.
A member of staff will be on hand to advise if the toilet is free. There is a hand sanitiser positioned outside the toilets, please use this before entering and on exiting the toilet. PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS. The toilets will be monitored and cleaned at regular intervals throughout service.
Bills can be settled by contactless payment or Apple pay at your table. Please inform a member of staff when you are leaving so they can check the exit route is clear.
A second private room has been created upstairs. We are taking reservations for private dining so that you can meet with one other household or support bubble. We can arrange the tables in a way that will allow for social distancing between the different households if requested.
Please get in touch to discuss your personal requirements.
We understand that things may seem strange to start with but you will still receive a friendly welcome, great service and delicious food and drink. Thank you for your support and understanding and please be patient as we adjust over the coming days to a new way of operating.
We look forward to welcoming you back.
