Cocktails new to W&V

September 13th, 2016

Although we have always been happy to oblige on the simpler cocktails, such as a Bloody Mary, Kir Royale or Martini Espresso, this month we took it a step further and brought in Rory from Masons Gin to help create and train staff to make some extra special classic cocktails. Cocktails are now available both in our upstairs and downstairs bars along with many wines by the glass and some fabulous gins!

Cocktails – £6.95

Cosmopolitan – A refreshing, fun and fruity cocktail made with vodka, Cointreau, fresh lime and cranberry juice garnished with flamed orange peel.

Dry martini – Sophisticated and simple. A large measure of gin and dry vermouth with a lemon peel twist.

Negroni – The classic aperitif made with Masons Gin, sweet Vermouth and Campari.

Cuba Libre – A taste of Cuba with a large measure of gold rum mixed with lime juice, brown sugar and topped up with coke.

Kir Royale – Crème de cassis topped up with fizz and a single raspberry.

Lavender Fizz – Made with love. Lavender gin mixed with Chambord raspberry liqueur and lemon juice.

Tea Collins – Yorkshire, the home of great tea and gin! Masons Tea gin, fresh lemon juice and soda water served in a tall glass with a lemon twist.

Whisky Sour – American whiskey, lemon juice and sugar syrup served on the rocks. Cheers!

After dinner cocktails

French Martini – First created in the 80s, just like William & Victoria’s, this cocktail is made with an eclectic mix of vodka, Chambord raspberry liqueur and pineapple juice with a maraschino cherry on top!

Brandy Alexander – An indulgent combination of brandy, créme de cacao and cream. A dessert in a glass!

Japanese Slipper – Short and sweet, a fruity vibrant green cocktail made with Midori, lemon juice and grenadine.

Espresso Martini – An irresistible mix of vodka, Kahlua and shot of espresso that will give you a ‘pick me up’ after dinner.
